Web3 can feel overwhelming at first : lots of new vocabulary, and it's hard to know where to start. This page is here to help you find the right entry point.
The content is split into 4 stages that build on each other. You don't need to go through all of them, answer the questions below to figure out where you belong.
Take a moment to answer these honestly:
1. Have you ever sent crypto, received it, or used a crypto wallet?
β If not: start at Stage 1.
2. Can you explain, even roughly, what a smart contract is and how it works?
β If not: Stage 1 or 2 is your entry point.
3. Have you ever used a DeFi app, swapped tokens on a DEX, bridged to another chain, or voted in a DAO?
β If yes to any of these: you probably don't need Stage 1. Jump to Stage 3.
4. Have you written or deployed a smart contract, even on a testnet?
β If yes: Stage 4 is for you.
Still unsure? Start at Stage 1. It's written to be read quickly, and you can always skip ahead.
For people who are brand new to crypto and blockchain. No technical background needed : if you can use a bank app, you're ready.
Covers the foundational questions: why blockchain exists, how Bitcoin works, what a wallet actually is, and the key vocabulary you'll need to understand everything else.
